Attaching The Seat
NOTE: Forshippingreasons,the seat iseitherfastenedto thetractor
seat'spivotbracketwith a plastictie, or mountedbackwardto the pivot
bracket.Ineithercase,free the seatfrom itsshippingpositionbeing
carefulnotto bendor kink the wiringharnessand follow theinstruc-
tions belowto attach it.
1.
Remove thetwohexscrews andnuts from theseat p ivot b racket.
2.
Align thefrontholes oftheseat m ounting b racket withtheholes intheseat
pivot b racket onyourtractor a nd secure w ithpreviously removed h ex screws
and nuts.See AinFigure 4 .
3.
Plug thewiringharness intotheseat s afety switch inthebottom oftheseat,
asshown in Bof Figure 4 .
flOTE: The tractor w illnotoperate w iththewiringharness disconnected.
Adjusting the Seat
Toadjustthe positionof the seat,pull upandholdthe seatadjustmentlever. S lide
the seatforwardor rearwardto the desired position;thenrelease the adjustment
lever. M akesureseatislocked into positioninaseat-stop beforeoperating the
tractor.SeeFigure 5.
Beforeoperatingthe tractor, makesurethe seat isengagedin a seat-stop.
Engage the parkingbrake.Standbehind the machine and pull backon seat
until it clicksintoplace.

Tire Pressure
Maximum tire pressureunderany circumstances is30 psi.Equal t ire pressure
shouldbe maintained at all times. Neverexceedthe maximum inflation
)ressureshown on the sidewallof the tire.
The recommended
operating t irepressure is:
Approximately 10psi f ortherear tires
Approximately 14psi f orthefronttires
IMPORTANT: Referto the tire sidewallfor exacttire manufacturer's
recommended or maximumpsi. Donot overinflate.Uneventire
pressurecouldcausethe cuttingdeckto mowunevenly.
