QuickGuide
There are4 powerlevels available: Critical, High, M edium and Low. O nthe
Medium andLowlevels, theunitrunsasnormal.
Thefollowing stepsshowhowtheunitreactsduring startup
at Critical andHighpowerlevels.
Option1 IDelag EP)
During startups atCritical and Highlevels, theunitwilldelay
startinguntil t helevel b ecomes NediumorLow. P ress t heSTART/PAUSE
button.
Option2 {Override DelayEP)
TostarttheunitwhenDelay EP isshown, p ress theDELAYSTART button
toturnthedelayoff.Thenpress START/PAUSE to begin thecycle.
During a Critical Rate period, theCritical R esponse Node**willalsobe
activated to maximize energysavings. EP willbedisplayed.

Afteroverriding t hedelayfunction, p ressing t he "e'DRY buttonwilldisable
the"e'DRY setting. P ressing t heSTART/PAUSE keywillbegintheselected
cycle.

**Note: T heCritical Response M ode canbedisabled at anytime by
pressing and holding the'°e'DRY Button for3 seconds. EP willberemoved

the unittoautomatically r unon an EP Cycle. Thissetting willoperate with

Auto-Extend Delays
tfa timeddelayisselected, thisoptionallows forthescheduled s tartto
extend ifthe utility rate is Critical o r Highat the scheduledstart. The
default s etting willautomatically e xtend these cycles.
Critical R ate Option
Thisoptionallows yoursmartappliance to respond to Critical Rate
information byautomatically engaging theCritical Response M ode. The
Critical Response Modeisdesigned t o maximize energy savings whena
cycle isrunduringa Critical Rateperiod. Thedefault s ettingisYES. Setting
thisoptionto NOwilldisable theCritical R esponse Node.
Timed Dry EP Option
tftheunitisrunning inTimedDryModeandtheutilityrateswitches to
Critical or High, t heunitwillconserve e nergybydecreasing heatif YES
(default) isselected, tfNOisselected, theunitwilloperatenormally.
NOTE: WhenYES (default)is selected, yourloadmaybedamp
attheendofthecycle.
