unsuccessful.
In this case, start over from step 5.
• This remote control can learn approximately
120 tunctions.
However depending on the signals learned, "FULL" may
appear in the display beti_re you program 120 _;anctions. In this
case, clear unnecessary programmed bmctions m make room
_\)r further learning.

functions.

Press LEARN again to exit from the learning
mode.

the name that appears
in the display
window
on the remote
control
if you want Io use the
different
name lhan the faclory preset.
This is useful when
you have set the input selector
to control
a different
component.
Press an input selector button to select the
source component you want to rename.
The selecled component name appears in the display
window.

and enter a character.
Pressing v changes the character as follows:
A 1o Z, a Io z, 0 1o 9, space, -(hyphen), and/(slash),
(Pressing/x
changes the characlei_s in reverse order.)

• Learning may not be possible in the fk)llowing cases:
-- When the batteries in the remote control fbr this unit or other
components are weak.
-- When the distance between the two remote controls is too
great or too small.
-- When the remote control infrared windows are not facing at
the appropriate angle.
-- When the remote control is exposed to direct sunlight.
-- When the _hnction _o be programmed is continuous or
/incon_n)oIl.
• "ERROR" appears in the display window if you press more than
one button at the same time.

Press < / > to move the cursor to the next
position.

If you want to continue setting up names _\)r other
components,
press TV MUTE/SELECT
and repeat steps 1,
3 and4.
Press RE-NAME again to exit from the
renaming mode.
