• The signal strength of the stations is too weak (when tuning in with automatic
tuning). Use direct tuning.
• No stations have been preset or the preset stations have been cleared (when
tuning by scanning preset stations) Preset the stations (page 70).
• Press DISPLAY so that the frequency appears in the front panel display.
• Check the location of the AM loop antenna (aerial) and cord (page 32)
• There are obstacles between the remote and the unit.
• The distance between the remote and the unit is too far.
• The remote is not pointed at the remote sensor on the unit.
• The batteries in the remote are weak
• There is no disc inserted
• The disc is upside down.
Insert the disc with the playback side facing down.
• The disc is skewed on the disc tray.
• The system cannot play CD-ROMs, etc. (page 6)

• The system cannot play audio tracks in MP3PRO format.
• The [MODE (MUSIC, IMAGE)] setting has been set to [IMAGE] (page 55)
• If you cannot change the [MODE (MUSIC, IMAGE)] setting, reqoad the disc
or turn the system off, then on.
• The DATA CD/DATA DVD contains a DivX video file (except for United
Kingdom and North American models)
Noise is heard on AM radio.
