Playing MP3 Files/JPEG
Image Files
You can play tile MP3 files or JPEG image files:
• which have lhe extension ".MP3" (MP3 file)
or ".JPG"/"JPEG" (JPEG image file)
• which conP.)rm to the DCF:: image file format

• The system will play any data with the extension
".MP3," ".JPG,"or ".JPEG"even if they arc not in
MP3 or JPEG format. Playing these data may
generate a loud noise which could damage your
speaker system.
• The system does not conform to audio in MP3PRO
format.
• The system can recognize up to 2110R)lders, and will
not play any folders beyond the 200th. (Depending on
the folder configuration, the number of R)lders that
can be recognized by the system may decrease.)
• The system can recognize up to 15(}MP3 files/JPEG
image files in a folder.
• The system may take longer time to playback, when
progressing to the R)llowing R)lder or jump to other
folder.
• The system may not play certain types of JPEG image
files (ex. a JPEG image file that is less than 8 (width)
x 8 (height)).
Load a DATA CD or DATA DVD.
The folders recorded on the DATA CD or
DATA DVD appeal'. When a l\qder is being
played, its title is shaded.
FOLDER LIST

Press ,t/q, to select a folder.
• To play MP3 files in a folder
Press _ to start playing the selected
Rqder.
• To select a MP3 file
Press @.
The list of files contained in the folder
appears.
TRACK LIST

Press 4"/,I, to select a file and press @.
The system starts playing the selected file.
You call turn tile file list off by pressing
DVD MENU. Pressing DVD MENU again
will display the folder list.
To stop playback
Press II.
To play the next or previous MP3
file
Press I_,,t/I,_. Note that you can select the
next f_llder by continuing to press _ afler the
last file on the current l\!lder, but that you cannot
return to the previous folder by pressing _.
To return to tile previous folder, select the lolder
li'om the R)lder list.
To return to the previous display
Press o*%RETURN.
To turn off the display
Press DVD MENU.
Load a DATA CD or DATA DVD.
The Rllders recorded on the DATA CD or
DATA DVD appear. When a lolder is being
played, its title is shaded.
