Selecting the Sound
Mode
You can selecl a suilable sound mode for movies

playback until the desired mode appears in
the front panel display.
• "AUTO": The system selects "MOVIE" or
"MUSIC" automatically to produce the sotllld

• "MOVIE": The system provides the sound l\_r
movies.
• "MUSIC": The system provides the sound for

Enjoying Multiplex
Broadcast Sound
(DUAL MONO)
You can enjoy multiplex broadcast sound when
the system receives or plays the Dolby Digital
multiplex broadcast siglml.
• To receive the Dolby Digit ,1 signal, you need to
connect a TV or other component to Ihe unit with an
optical or coaxial digital cord (page 26) and set the
digital output mode of the TV or other component to
Dolby Digital.
