DivX @is a vide() file compression technology,
developed by DivX, Inc. This product is art
official DivX ® Certified product.
You can play a DATA CD or DATA DYD that
contains DivX ® video files.
A DATA CD or DATA DVD that the
system can play
Playback of a DATA CD (CD-ROM/CD-R/CD-
RW) or DATA D'v'D (DVD-ROM/D\_D-R/
DVD=RW/DVD+R/DVD+RW) on this system
is subject to certain conditions:
With a DATA CD/DATA DVD that contains
DivX vide() files in addition to MP3 audio
tracks or JPEG image files, the system plays
only the DivX vide() files.
However, this system only plays a DATA CD of
lormat 1SO 9660 Level 1/Level 2 or Joliet, arrd a
DATA DVD of Universal Disk Format (UDF).

About playback order of data on a
DATA CD or DATA DVD
Note that the playback order may not be
applicable, depending on the software used tk)r
creating the DivX video file, or it there are more
than 200 R)lders and 150 DivX vide() files in
each flqder.

•The system may not be able to play some DATA
CDs/DATA DVDs created in the Packet Write
lk_rmat.
DivX video files that the system
can play
The system can play dlmt that is recorded in
DivX lormat, and which has the extension
".A¥I," r .DIYX." The system will not play
liles with the exlension ".AVI" or ".D1VX" if
they do not contain a DivX \'iden.
• For details about playable MP3 audio tracks or JPEG
image files on a DATA CD or DATA DVD, see
"Playable Discs" (page 6).
• The system may not play _ DivX vide() file when the
file has been combined from two or more DivX video
files.
• The system cannot play a DivX video file of size
morn than 720 (width) x 576 (height) or 2GB.
• Depending on the DivX video file, sound may skip or
not match the pictures on the T¥ screen.
• The system cannot play some DivX video files Ihat
are hmger than 3 hours.
• Depending on the DivX video file, the picture may
pause or be unclear. In which ca_,e,it is recommended
Ihat you create the file at a lower bit rate. If the sound
is still noisy, MP3 is the recommended audio format.
Note, however, this syqem does not conform to
WMA (Windows Media Audio) format for playing
DivX files.
• Because of the compression technology used for
DivX video files, it )nay take some time afier you
press _ for tire picture to appear.

A list of folders on the disc appears. Only
folders that contain DivX vide() files are
listed.
