The camera automatically detects a light som'ce and adjusts
the color tones.
If you select an option to suit a specific light source, the color
tones are adjusted for the light source (preset white balance).
• Use the white balance bracket function if you cannot get the desired color
ill the selected option (page 122).
• When you select [5500K] (Color Temp.) or [0] (Color Filter), you can
adjust the value to the desired value (below').
• When you select [Custom], you can register your setting (page 117).

• To set the color temperature, select the
value with '_11_.

compensation direction with '_11_.

• Since color meters are designed for film cameras, the values difler under fluorescent/
sodium lamp/mercury lamps. We recommend that you use the custom white balance
or dn a test shooting.
