Searching using the
The VCR automatically marks the tape with
an index signal at the point where each
recording begins. Use these signals as
references to find a specific recording.

SEARCH
1 Insert an indexed tape into the VCR.
2 Press I-_1_1/l_t INDEX SEARCH.
• To search ahead, press _ INDEX SEARCH.
• To search backwards, press I_l_ INDEX
SEARCH.
The VCR starts searching, and playback starts
automatically from that point.

PressISTOP.
Note
• No i1_dex signal will be added when recording stalts ii'om recording pause. However, an
index signal wiII be mm'ked if you change the channel during recording pause.
