To set the clock
Turn DIAL TIMER so that "CLOCK" appears in the display window.
Press DIAL TIMER.
"MONTH" appears in the display window.
Turn DIAL TIMER to set the month.
Press DIAL TIMER.
"DAY" appears in the display window.
Turn and press DIAL TIMER to set the day and then the year.
After you set the year, "CLOCK" appears in the display window again.
Turn and press DIAL TIMER to set the hour and minute.
When you have finished setting the time, press DIAL TIMER to stair the clock.
Tips
• lb cancel a Dial *limer setting, press • STOP on the VCR while you are making the setting.
• 1he program is recorded in the current tape speed, t'o change the tape speed, press SPiEP
betbre you complete the setting in step 9 (page 67).
• When you are recording a program in the SP nlode and the remaining tape becomes sholter
than the recording time, the tape speed is automatically changed to the EP mode. Note that
some noise will appear on the picture when the tape speed is changed. If you want to keep
the tape speed, set AtlO TAPE SPEED to OFF in the ADVANCED OPTIONS menu (page
92).
• lb check, change, or cancel the program setting, see "Checkingmhangingicanceling timer
settings" (page 80).
Notes
• If eight programs have already been set using the VIDEO Plus+/VIDEO Plus_ GOLD systenl
or the TIMER SET/CHE( K menu, "PULL" appears in the display window lbr ahout five
seconds.
• lfyou are using the Cable Mouse, you cmmot select"Ll"or"L2."(SEV-N81 only)
• If you set the clock using the Auto Clock Set fmlction, *he clock will adiust itself to the
incoming time signal regardless of adiustments made with the Dial Timer. Be sure you have
set ACS correctly.
• lfyouaresettingtheclockforthefirsttimeor" : " appears in the display window, you
caImot set the clock to Pebl_aary 29 th using the Dial Timer. Please use the Auto Clock Set
fhnction to set the VCR to this day.
