Playing back a tape
To operate video control buttons, set tile POWER switch to VCR.
To play back pause (viewing a still picture)
Press II dtning playback. To resume normal playback, press I_ o1" II.
To advance the tape
Press I_ in tile stop n-lode. To resume normal playback, press I_-.
To rewind the tape
Press _ in tile stop mode. To resume normal playback, press I_-.
To change the playback direction
Press <_ on the Ren-lote Conln-lander during playback to reverse tile playback direction.
To resume normal playback, press I_-.
To locate a scene monitoring the picture (picture search)
Keep pressing _ o1"_ during playback. To resume normal playback, release the
button.
To monitor high-speed pictures while advancing or rewinding
the tape (skip scan)
Keep pressing _ while rewinding o1"_ while advancing tbe tape. To resume
rewinding or advancing, release the button.
To view the picture at slow speed (slow playback)
Press l_ on the Remote Commander during playback. For slow playback ill the reverse
dilection, press _< , then press I.- on tile Remote Commander. To resume normal
playback, press I_-.
To view pictures at double speed
Press ×2 on tile Remote Conlnlander during playback. For double speed playback in the
reverse direction, press _<, then press ×2 on the Remote Commander. To resume
normal playback, press I_-.
To view pictures frame-by-frame
Press II1_ on the ReIl-lOte Comnlaoder
in the playback pause. For fl'ame by f)aIlle
playback in the reverse direction, press <111.To resume normal playback, press I_.
1o search the last scene recorded (END SEARCH)
Press FN, then press END SCH in tile stop mode. Tile last five seconds recorded portion
is played back and then stopped.
