UsingChild Lock
[_Important:
The child lock feature
prevents
others
from using your VCR.
To lock the VCR:
O
Press and hold down the DISPLAY
button
o_ the front panel
or on the remote
control
for about 8 seconds.
1"he LOCK light
on the fluorescent
display
will light up.
O
To cancel the child lock, press and hold down the DISPLAY
button
for about 8 seconds, until the LOCK light on the
fluorescent
display
goes out.
You can lock the VCR with the power off, ever_ if the VCR is
standing
by for a programmed
recording.
If you lock the VCR when there is no cassette
in _:he VCR, the
VCR will not accept a cassette.
