Your new VCR will eject the tape if you improperly
load it. If the
VCR ejects the tape, remove the tape, check to see that the
contents
label is facing you, that the geared
ta])e reels are facing
downwards,
wait a few second_';, and try again.
Unloadinga tape
l[_ Press the EJECT button
on the front of the VCR. If the VCR
POWER
is off, the VCR will1 turn on, eject Lhe tape, then turn
off.

Remove
the tape.
You cannot
eject a tape while it is recording.

preventing accidental erasure
Tapes
come with a tab which,
when removed,
prevents
you from
recording
over them. If you attempt
to record over a tape that has
had this tab removed,
the VCR will eject it. T(, record over such a
tape, simply place a piece of vinyl tape over tile opening.

If you :_epair a torn tape with improper

you could damage
)'our VCR when you play the tape.
head cleaning
Your VCR automatically
cleans
the head and the drum of the
VCR whenever
you load a tape. If you see "no:ise" or snow when
playing
a tape, eject the tape, re-load the tape, then wait 3 or 4
seconds.
Repeat this process several
times to improve the picture.
