Cleaning Procedures
Burner Grates
* Allow to cool beforetouching or removing.
* Washgrateswith warm,soapywater and a nonabrasive, plastic
scrubbing pad.Forstubbornsoils,cleanwith a soap-filled,nonabra-
sive pad or CooktopCleaningCreme(Part#20000001)** a nd a
sponge.If soil remains,reapplyCooktopCleaningCreme,coverwith a
damppapertowel and soak for 30 minutes. S crubagain,rinseand
dry.
* Do not cleanin dishwasheror self-cleaningoven.
BurnerCaps and Sealed Gas Burners
RemovableBurnerCaps
* Allow burner to cool. Removeburnercap and wash in soapywater
with a plasticscouringpad.Forstubborn soils,cleanwith a soap-
filled, nonabrasive pad or CooktopCleaningCreme(Part
#20000001)** a nd a sponge.
* Do not cleanin dishwasheror self-cleaningoven.
Sealed Gas Burner
. Cleanfrequently. A llow burnerto cool. Cleanwith soapand plastic
scouring pad.Forstubborn soils,cleanwith a soap-filled,nonabrasive
pad.
* Be carefulnot to get water into the centerof the burner.
* Usecarewhen cleaningthe ignitor.If the ignitor iswet or damaged
the surfaceburnerwill not light.
* To ensureevencookingperformance, k eepburner portsfree of food
soils/debris.
ControlKnobs
* Removeknobsin the OFFpositionby pulling up.
* Washwith warm,soapywater,rinseand dry.De not useabrasive
cleaningagentsor abrasive padsasthey mayscratchthe finish.
* Do not soak.
* Knobsmay be cleanedin the dishwasher.Removeanywater marks
with hot soapywater to preventpermanentstains.
* After replacingthe knobs,turn on eachburnerto be surethe knobs
havebeencorrectlyreplaced.

Porcelainenamelis glassfusedon metaland maycrackor chip with
misuse.It is acid resistant, n ot acid proof.All spillovers, e speciallyacidic
or sugaryspillovers, s houldbe wiped up immediately with a dry cloth.

SmartCleanser% or Soft Scrub*- usinga dampspongeor softcloth.
Rinseand dry. Stubbornsoilsmay be removedwith a dampScotch-
Brite*pad;rub evenlywith the grain.Rinseand dry. To restoreluster
and removestreaks,follow with StainlessSteelMagic Spray.
. Discoloration-- Using a dampspongeor soft cloth,wipe with
CameoStainless SteelCleaner _.Rinseimmediately and dry.To remove
streaksand restoreluster,follow with StainlessSteelMagic Spray.

ignitoris damaged, s oiledor wet. If ignitordoesn'tclick,turn control
knob OFF.
. Checkto be sure burnercap is correctlyseatedon the burnerbase.
Surface burner flame lifts off ports.

The flame is uneven.
