Burner Heads

, Check to be sure all ports are open. To open clogged ports, insert a

, When replacing the burner heads, carefully align the tabs on the burner

base with the indentations in the head. The three pins will fit in the slots
when the tab is aligned with the indentation.

NOTE: When burner heads are removed for cleaning, do not spill liquids
through the hobs in the burner base.

Burner Grates
, Wash with w,arm, soapy water and a nonabrasive, plastic scrubbing pad. For stubborn soils,
clean with a soap-filled, nonabrasive pad or a sponge and Cooktop Cleaning Creme (Part
#20000001}** and sponge. If soil remains, reapply Cooktop Cleaning Creme, cover with a damp paper
towel and soak for 30 minutes. Scrub again, rinse and dr},.
, The grates are made of porcelain on cast iron and are very durable, however, they will gradually lose
their shine and/or discolor. This is due to exposure to high temperatures from the gas flame.
, Do not clean in dishwasher or self-cleaning oven.
Control Knobs
, Remove knobs in the OFF position by pulling up.
, Wash, rinse and dry. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents as they may scratch the finish.
, Turn on each burner to be sure the knobs have been correctly replaced.
Cooktop=
Porcelain enamel is glass fused on metal and maycrack or chip with misuse. It isacid resistant, not acid proof.
Porcelain Enamel
All spillovers, especially acidic or sugary' spillovers, should be wiped up immediately with a dry cloth.
° When cool, wash with soapy water, rinse and dry.
, Never wipe off a warm or hot surface with a damp cloth. This may cause cracking or chipping.
, Never use oven cleaners, abrasive or caustic cleaning agents on exterior finish of range.
Cooktop=

Maderate/Heavy
Sail -- Wipe with one of the following - Bon Ami, Smart Cleanser, or Soft Scrub*
- using a damp sponge or soft cloth. Rinse and dry. Stubborn soils may be removed with a damp
multi-purpose Scotch-Brite * pad; rub evenly with the grain. Rinse and dry. To restore luster and
remove streaks, follow with Stainless Steel Magic Spray_.
