Choose the size and aspect ratio at which still pic-
tures are recorded. Large pictures can be printed
at large sizes with no drop in quality; small pic-
tures require less memory, allowing more pictures
to be recorded.

Pictures with an aspect ratio of 4:3 have the same
proportions as the camera display. Pictures wit[] an
aspect ratio of 3:2 have tile same proportions as a
frame of 35-mm film, while an aspect ratio of 16:9 is
suited to display on High Definition (HD) devices.
