• Format memory cards before first use,and be sure to reformat all memory cards after using them in a computer
or other device. For more information on formatting memory cards,see page 82.
• Memory cardsare small and carl be swallowed; keep out of reach of children. Ifa child swallows a memory card, _
seek medical assistanceimmediately. ,.,
• miniSD or microSDadapters that are larger or smaller than tile standard dimensions of an SDcard may not elect
normally; if the card does not eject, take tile camera to an authorized service representative. Do not forcibly
remove tile card.
• Do not affix labels to memory cards. Peeling labels carl cause camera malfunction.
• Movie recording may be interrupted with some types of SD memory card. Usea card with a class6 write speed
(6 MB/s)or better when shooting movies.
• The data in internal memory may be erased or corrupted when the camera is repaired. Pleasenote that tile
repairer will be able to view pictures in internal memory.
• Formatting a memory card or internal memory in tile camera createsa folder in which pictures are stored. Do
not rename or delete this folder or use a computer or other device to edit, delete, or rename image files. Always
use tile camera to delete pictures from memory cards and internal memory; before editing or renaming files,
copy them to a computer and edit or rename tile copies, not tile originals.
