Decrease the tension by turning the dial to

NOTE:
Lower thread tension has already been adjusted for
gecere_ use at the factory. For most sewing app|lca-
!ions no adjustment is needed,
However. when sewing with thin t_read on thin
tabrics the thread tension can not he ediusted
enough with the Upper Tension Control Dial. There_
fore. tee reread tension can be adjusted aeserdmg to
the procedure below.
C, Lower tension is too loose.
Locks appear on the surface ot the fabee
Decrease the thread tension by turning the dial
to a lower number. If the result is still not satis-
factory then adjust the bobbin thread tension as
shown be_ow.
C-1 BOBBIN
Increase the tension in the bobbin by turning the
screw with a sma|l screwdriver in e clockwise
direction. However do not tam the screw more
than one lull turn.
