Step 4: Check the Installation
This completes the installation
of the tines on the two inner
holders. To ensure that the
installation is correct, check for
the following:
A. Make sure that the tips of the
four innermost tines (those
nearest the transmission
housing) are directly opposite
each other, pointing toward each
other and toward the trans-
mission housing. See Figure 9.
B. Make sure that the cutting
edges of all tines will enter the
soil first when the tiller moves
forward.
