Using the Automatic Setting

When Automatic is selected on the Basic Settings menu, the
printer driver takes care of all detailed settings according to the
Color setting you select. Color is the only setting you need to make
by yourself. Most Windows applications feature paper size and
page layout settings which override similar settings on the printer
driver, but if your application does not, you should verify the
settings on the printer driver.
Note:
Depending on the color setting you make in the Basic Setting menu
(when Automatic is selected), a slide bar may appear in the Mode
Setting box that lets you choose Text/Graph or Photo . Select Text/
Graph when you print text data or images which have a little color.
Select Photo when you print images that have gradual color changes.
