The Control Panel

The printer control panel gives you easy control over most
common printer operations. The panel is made up of three
elements: a liquid crystal display (LCD), indicator lights, and
buttons. The display and indicator lights tell you about the
current status of the printer, and you can use the buttons to select
printer settings and functions. However, settings that you make
with the buttons will be overridden by settings made by software.
Becoming familiar with the way your printer's control panel
works may help you get more from your printer. For more
information on the SelecType settings available from the controls,
including the OneTouch modes, see Chapter 2 "Control Panel
Functions".
This section also shows all SelecType menu categories and
options. It can be used as a guide whenever you use SelecType
features.
