guide-plate release shaft and a section of the paper-guide-plate release shaft must be joined at point B, as
shown in the figure above.

4.2.5.2 Removal of Paper-Feed Motor

1. Remove the printer mechanism (refer to Section 4.2.4).
2. Disconnect the motor cable from the paper-feed motor.
3. Loosen the tab on the frame, which secures the paper-feed motor to the frame, by pushing it, using a
screwdriver. Remove the paper-feed motor by turning it in the direction shown by the arrow below, using
point A as a fulcrum.
