5 . Do not attempt to touch the surface of the photosensitive drum of the cartridge. Further, do
not clean the photosensitive drum.
6 . Do not place the cartridge upright or turn it over. Be sure it is laid with the label surface facing
u p w a r d .
7 . Do not disassemble the cartridge.
Reference: If the photosensitive drum is exposed to light of 1500 lux (general lighting) for 5 min
and then left alone in the dark for 5 min, the faults can be corrected to a level satis-
factory to practical uses. It is nevertheless important to avoid direct rays of the sun,
which is about 10000 to 30000 lux in intensity.
