Open the menu in the main screen or in
the P2 thumbnail screen.

Press the menu button and use the cursor
buttons to select [OPERATION]  [FOR-
MAT (P2)].

Use the cursor buttons to select [YES]
and press the SET button in the confir-
mation screen that appears.
• Selecting [YES] starts formatting. Messag-
es may also be displayed during format-
ting.
• Selecting [NO] cancels formatting.

When formatting ends, a message in-
dicating that formatting has ended ap-
pears. Press the SET button.
• The message clears.
 NOTE:
• Check that no important data remains on a device before
formatting since data erased by formatting cannot be
recovered.
