Using Features

Park

When transferring a call, you may find that your co-worker
can't be located. Use Park to hold the call and use Paging to
announce the call over your co-workers'
over the building's loudspeaker system.

When you park a call, you put it on hold
from any phone in the system. Calls can be parked at your
extension or at a specific Park zone. (You cannot park a call at
a Park zone where another call is parked.)
Your co-worker can then pick up the call from the nearest
phone by using Pickup and dialing the extension you
announced. If the call is not picked up after a set time, it
returns to your console.
You can use Park with a programmed Park or Park Zone
button. You can also use Transfer to park a call.
Park zone and Paging features must be programmed
system-wide.
Must have Park zones (maximum 8), Speakerphone
Paging group numbers and/or Loudspeaker Paging
access codes and line number.
