Troubleshooting

Weak or no suction / Motor suddenly runs louder / Motor runs hot
WARNING:
To reduce the risk
of fire, electric
shock or injury
unplug from outlet
before servicing.
Reduced spray or no spray / Leaking connections

Possible Causes
Vacuum is not operating
Collection tank unit is full
Dirty filter(s)
Power unit improperly attached
Kink/blockage in hoses/tubes
Possible Causes
Tank siphon tube filter clogged
Filling cavity empty
Spray tip clogged
Tank siphon tube/Solution hose/
Wand solution tube kinked/
disconnected
Pump is not operating
Connections not tight
Remedies
Check electrical plug
Vacuum/switch on?
Call BISSELL Consumer Services

Empty collection tank
See PUTTING IT AWAY (see page 11)
Reposition top power unit on tank unit
Carrying handle in place to lock
tank unit and top power unit?
Straighten hoses/tubes
Check aluminum wands/vacuum
flex hose/solution hose and tube
for obstructions
Remedies

Refill filling cavity

Tighten loose connections
Relax kinks in solution tubes/hoses
Check electrical plug
Pump/spray switch on?

Finger tighten all connections
(do not use pliers or other tools)
