USING FIREWORKS CS4
Creating slide shows
Select and scale a custom background image for the slide show.
Background
Captions panel
Use the Captions options to customize the slide show image captions.
Apply the caption options to all albums in the AlbumBook.
Apply To All Albums
Keep the existing captions.
No Change
Clear all captions from the album.
Clear All Captions
Use the filenames of images as the caption.
Use File Name
If you choose to have filenames as captions, include filename extensions.
Include Extension
Use the specified text as the caption for every image.
Insert Text
Apply the text you inserted to all images.
Replace Captions
Filters panel
You can apply filters to a new album only. To apply selected filters to all albums in the AlbumBook, select Apply To
All Albums.
Slideshow Properties panel
Slideshow properties apply to the currently selected slide show.
Apply the specified options to all albums in the AlbumBook.
Apply To All Albums
Number of seconds between each image.
Interval
Select a specified transition effect between images.
Use Transition
Set the first image in the album. This is the sequence number of the image in the album.
First Image
Choose whether to display images in order or randomly.

Export Options panel
Use these options to set up the export of the images.
Export the full-sized and thumbnail images with the specified settings. Deselect to export only the XML file.
Export images
Generate a slideshow.xml file for the slide show images and directories. Deselect to export only the

images.
Select the XML format exported as Create Slideshow or Adobe Media Gallery if you select Generate XML.
XML Format
Location where the slide show and associated files are exported or generated.
Export path
Width and height of the exported full-sized images. Scaled images keep their original aspect ratios.

Export the thumbnails along with the full-sized images.
Export Thumbnails
Width and height of the exported thumbnail images.
Width and Height
Specify the output quality of the exported full-sized and thumbnail images. A setting of 100 indicates

the best possible quality.
If necessary, enlarge images to match the specified export size.
