Deleting addresses
Addresses that are no longer needed should be deleted from the address book to en-
sure sufficient space for new addresses.
Select "Delete" in the "Address book" menu.
Select which address book category the address should be deleted from (private,
business or history).
Choose whether to delete one or all of the addresses in the chosen category.
Deleting one address:
A list of the destination addresses stored in the selected address book is displayed.
Select an address to be deleted from the list and confirm your selection.
The selected address is deleted from the address book.
Deleting all the addresses:
Confirm the deletion.
All the addresses in the selected address book category will be deleted.
Storing current position
Would you like to store a favourite restaurant in the destination memory? You can
store the current position of your car as follows:
Select "Store position" in the "Address book" menu.
Select which address book category the address should be stored in (private, busi-
ness, home or work).
For "Business" or "Private" only:
The name input menu appears.
Enter a name and complete the input with "OK".
If you wish to store the address without a name, select "OK" straight away.
Changing address names
If you would like to change the name of an address stored in the address book:
Select "Edit name" in the "Address book" menu.
Select which address book the address name is to be changed in (private, business).
Select the address to be edited from the list and confirm with "OK".
Delete characters by pressing the CLR button or by selecting "Delete".
Enter a new name for the address.
Confirm your selection with "OK".
The address will be stored under the new name in the address book.
Comments:
100 entries is the guaranteed minimum of entries for the address book. This total can
be up to 250, depending on the data entered (e.g. with or without a name, etc.)
