Making, answering and ending a call

Answering a call

• Press any dial pad key (also known as Any Key Answer)
or PHONE/
-OR-
SPEAKER to use the speakerphone.
• Press

During a call, press
speakerphone and normal handset use.
Press OFF/
CLEAR
NOTES:
• For better call quality, we recommend that the handset be placed on a table with the dial
pad keys facing up when using the speakerphone.
After installing the battery in the handset, the screen may show Low battery. If you use
•
the speakerphone at this time, the battery may become depleted. Follow the instructions in
Battery charging on page 7.

Ending a call

• Press OFF/
-OR-
• Put the handset in the telephone base or charger to
end the call (also known as Auto Off).
