Prepare the computer for disassembly

Remove the access panel
3.
Disconnect the power and data cables from the back the drive.
4.
Remove the four retaining screws that secure the drive to the bay (1).
5.
Slide the drive back and out of the bay (2).
To install a new hard drive, reverse the removal procedure.
