3. Enter the syslog information in the following fields:
• Enable Syslog. Select this check box to enable the syslog server.
• Syslog Server IP address. The IP address of the syslog server.
• Port Number. The port number that is configured on the syslog server on your LAN. The
default port is 514.
4. Click Apply. The wireless access point sends all the system activity information to the
specified IP address.

Viewing System Information

The System Information is a summary of the wireless access point configuration settings.
To view the system information screen:
1. Log in to the wireless access point at its default LAN address of http://192.168.0.229 with its
default user name of admin and default password of password, or using whatever password
and LAN address you have chosen for the wireless access point.
2. Select Monitoring > System. The System information screen displays (see
4-9). Table 4-1 on page 4-9
