A typical setup is as follows: Figure 1-3 Installation Procedure Tip: Before mounting the wireless access point in a high location, first set up and test the wireless access point to verify wireless network connectivity.

If it is not, make sure that the Ethernet cable is securely attached at both ends. Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi light on the wireless access point should be blinking green when the wireless LAN (WLAN) is ready.
