Optional air filter (service part) is available from any Panasonic dealer.
When you replace the projector lamp, replace the air filter at the same time.
The replacement lamp unit (part number ET-LAD60A, 1 bulb unit) package contains one air filter (part number
ET-LAD60A), but the ET-LAD60AW lamp unit (part number ET-LAD60AW, 2 bulb units) package contains two
air filters (part number ET-LAD60AW).

Attention
When the projector is mounted in the ceiling, do not work directly under the projector or put your face close to the projector.

The lamp unit and the lamp unit cover must be attached correctly and securely. Failure to do so, the projector will not be
z
turned on for the protection circuit.
If the lamp unit is not installed smoothly, remove it and then install it again. If it is pushed in forcibly, its connector may be
z
broken.
1 ) Turn the main power OFF, following
the procedures described in
"Powering off the projector"
( Æ page 33), disconnect the power
plug from the AC power source, and
wait for one hour or more. Then check
that the lamp unit has cooled down.
2 ) Loosen a "Air Filter/Lamp Unit
cover fixing screw" (1 piece) using
a Phillips-head screwdriver, and
remove "Air Filter/Lamp Unit cover".

3 ) Loosen the "Exhaust fan fixing
screw" (1 piece) using a Phillips-head
screwdriver to make it free to rotate,
and open the "Exhaust Fan" cover as
shown in the figure.
