JUPITER L-S and LCD Series Control Panel Instruction Manual
The sequence set must be assigned to the panel on the Jupiter MPK Devices
table.
For additional information regarding Jupiter sequences and assigning
them to control panels, refer to either the Jupiter CM-4000 Installation and
Operating manual or Jupiter CM-4400 Installation and Operating manual.
Note
Sequences are executed in slightly different ways, depending on the buttons
available on each panel type. Refer to the specific instructions for each panel.
You can disable the Configuration and Setup menus on the Control panel.
Some of the locked-out settings will still be accessible from the Control
Panels Web page; such as the ability to change the Device ID or the Connec-
tion Type settings. Also the Setup menu will be accessible, regardless of the
Password Level setting, if the panel is not connected to the Control module
by either a LAN or a Serial connection. You will need to set the Password
level in the MPK Devices table to disable the Configuration and Setup
menus.
Follow these steps to disable the Configuration and Setup menus on the
Control panel:
1. Open the MPK Devices table.
2. Enter the preferred setting in the Password Level column (see
Figure
26):
• Enter a number from 1 to 89 to disable both the Configuration and
Setup menus.
• Enter a number from 90 to 94 to disable only the Setup menu.
• Enter a number 95 and higher to enable both menus.
Note
If the Password Level column is left blank, both menus will be accessible.
3. Apply the changes by compiling the appropriate sets.
You can disable the buttons for a Destination on the Control panel. You will
need to set the mnemonic for a source or destination to be "BLANK" (see
Figure
28).The panel will then disable the button for that source or destina-
tion.
