[2] Outputting a program source to an amplifier, etc., in a different room (MULTI mode)
This operation is possible when "6CH IN & MULTI" is selected at the System Setup Menus "EXT. IN & MULTI" setting screen. This operation
is not possible in the "8CH IN" mode.
1 Press the REC/MULTI button.
The display switches as follows each
time the button is pressed.
2 With "M-SOURCE SOURCE" displayed,
turn the FUNCTION knob and select the
source you wish to output.
• The "MULTI" indicator and the
indicator of the selected source light.
3 Start playing the source to be output.
• For operating instructions, refer to the manuals of the
respective components.
4 To cancel, either press the REC/MULTI button or turn the
function knob and select "SOURCE".
• When "SOURCE" is selected, the "MULTI" indicator turns
off.

"AUDIO" and "MULTI".
2 Press the input source
button.
The multi source switches

The remote control unit's MULTI button
canbe operated at positions other than
"MULTI".
The multi source switches in order each
time the multi button is pressed.

The volume can only be adjusted when "6CH IN & MULTI" is selected at the System Setup Menu's "EXT. IN & MULTI" setting screen and
"Variable" is set at the "MULTI VOL. LEVEL" screen.

2 Use the VOLUME buttons to adjust the
volume level.

• The signals of the source selected in the MULTI mode are also
output from the VCR-1 and VCR-2/V.AUX recording output
terminals.
• Digital signals are not output from the multi source audio output
jacks.
