SETTING FUNCTIONS
You can set the following functions by
yourself.
To set the mode 1 (the automatic lock-
ing operation linked to shift lever posi-
tion):
1. Set the parking brake, close all doors
and turn the ignition switch to the "ON"
position.
2. Shift the selector lever into the "P"
position.
3. Press the driver's side power door lock
switch on the front side for about 5
seconds, within 10 seconds after the
ignition switch is turned to the "ON"
position.
4. The doors will be locked and unlocked
to indicate that the function is set.
To cancel the function, do the above op-
eration again.
To set the mode 2 (the automatic lock-
ing operation linked to vehicle speed):
1. Set the parking brake, close all doors
and turn the ignition switch to the "ON"
position.
2. Shift the selector lever from the "P"
into the "N" position.

3. Press the driver's side power door lock
switch on the front side for about 5
seconds, within 10 seconds after the
ignition switch is turned to the "ON"
position.
4. The doors will be locked and unlocked
to indicate that the function is set.
To cancel the function, do the above op-
eration again.
To set the mode 3 (the automatic un-
locking operation linked to the ignition
switch):
1. Set the parking brake, close all doors
and turn the ignition switch to the "ON"
position.
2. Shift the selector lever into the "P"
into the "N" position.
3. Press the driver's side power door lock
switch on the rear side for about 5
seconds, within 10 seconds after the
ignition switch is turned to the "ON"
position.
4. The doors will be locked and unlocked
to indicate that the function is set.
To cancel the function, do the above op-
eration again.
To set the mode 4 (the automatic un-
locking operation linked to shift lever
position):
1. Set the parking brake, close all doors
and turn the ignition switch to the "ON"
position.
2. Shift the selector lever into the "P"
position.
3. Press the driver's side power door lock
switch on the rear side for about 5
seconds, within 10 seconds after the
ignition switch is turned to the "ON"
position.
4. The doors will be locked and unlocked
to indicate that the function is set.
To cancel the function, do the above op-
eration again.
CAUTION
To prevent an accident, set and can-
cel the function with
brake set securely.
