3.1. Accessing the NAS Administration Page

The easiest way to access the NAS Ad-
NOTe:
ministration Page is to use LaCie Ethernet Agent
(Windows, see section 2.3) or LaCie IP Configu-
rator (Mac, see section 2.4).
To access the NAS Administration page with a
browser:
1. In your browser's URL (web address) field, type one
of the following:
http://lacie-2big
or
http://IP address
Find the IP address by running the LaCie IP
Configurator Wizard on a Mac (section 2.4) or the
LaCie Ethernet Agent on a PC (section 2.3).
TeChNICAl NOTe:
2big may be different than the IP address shown in
Fig. 3.1-B.
2. On the login page (Fig. 3.1-C), type:

admin

admin

are both set to "admin" by default. The admin password
can be changed, but not the login name. See section
3.4.1, Administrator Account
If you logged in as "admin", the NAS Administra-
tion page will open. For non-admin users the file brows-
ing page will open.
