Keyboard Commands

The following keyboard commands do not
have corresponding menus or tools. The only
way to access them is through keyboard
keys.

Design Workspace
Toggle between the
Select (Outline)
tool and the Stitch
Select tool (One
of these tools must be
enabled).
Toggle between the
Run tool and the
previously used
punching tool (The
Run tool or a punching
tool must be enabled).
Pan
Highlight cursor
(mouse finder)
Add Guidelines
(reference lines)
Move Guidelines
Zoom in while
punching
Zoom out while
punching
Backup to previously
punched point
Key
Spacebar
Spacebar
Arrow keys (←↑→ ↓)

Ctrl+Shift (press and
hold the Ctrl and Shift
keys as you click and
drag the guideline off

Expand stitch picking Hold down Shift
radius (doubles the
search radius). This
feature is helpful if
you're having
problems picking a
point when you're
zoomed in.
Delete multiple Backspace
stitches in Stitch file
When using any path Press Shift while
drawing tool you can punching
force your line to be at
an angle. Shift forces
the next point to be at
any 15 degree
increment angle (0 to
90 degrees).
Set Start/Stop tool to Tilde key (~) or
enter start and stop Semicolon key (;)

Close a segment H
Nudge anchor points Select anchor point
