Understanding display messages

Messages appear on the control panel display to indicate the printer's
status or errors. Refer to the tables below to understand the messages'
meaning and correct the problem if necessary. Messages and their
meanings are listed in alphabetical order.
Note
When you call for service, it is very important to tell the service
representative the display message.
• xxx indicates the media type.
• yyy indicates the paper tray.
• zzz indicates the media size.
Message Meaning
[yyy] Tray cassette is not
Cassette Out properly closed.
[yyy] There is no paper in
Paper Empty tray.
ADC Not There is a problem in
Confirm Error the ADC (Analog to
Digital Converter) of
your machine.
Deve Motor There is a problem
Locked with the deve motor
that moves the toner
supply device.
Door Open The top cover or
rear cover is not
securely latched.
Duplex Jam 0 Paper has jammed
Check Inside during duplex
printing.
Duplex Jam 1 Paper has jammed
Open/Close during duplex
Door printing.
Fuser The fuser door is not
Door Open securely latched.
Suggested solutions
To close tray, lower
the rear edge, align it
with the slot, and slide
it into the printer.
Load paper in tray.
Unplug the power
cord and plug it back
in. If the problem
persists, contact the
service
representatives.
Unplug the power
cord and plug it back

Close the cover until it
locks into place.

Message Meaning
Fuser Fan There is a problem
Locked with the fan for the
fuser unit.
Inner Temp. The inner
Open temperature of the
Cycle Power machine is above the
normal range.
Inner Temp. The inner
Error temperature of the
Cycle Power machine is out of the
normal range.
Load [yyy] with The paper size
[zzz] [xxx] specified in the
printer properties
does not match the
paper you are
loading.
Load Manually Tray 1(MPT) is empty
Press Stop Key in manual feed mode.
Low Heat Error There is a problem in
Cycle Power the fuser unit.
LSU Hsync Error A problem has

LSU Motor Error A problem has

Main Motor There is a problem
