Removing the Power Supply

Follow this procedure to remove the power supply.

42. Before removing the power supply you must remove the top cover
43. To remove the power supply, perform the following steps:
Disconnect the power cable from the system board.
44. If it is connected, disconnect the power cable from the backplane.
NOTE: There are several steps involved in disconnecting the power connector from the
backplane; they are enumerated in the procedure for removing the backplane.
45. Loosen the thumbscrew and slide the power supply towards the front of the unit and remove
it from the system.
