DISASSEMBLY
Carefully read p. 33 (MAINTENANCE).

While disassembling the wheel,
be careful not to damage the
brake pipe, the disc and the
pads.
To disassemble the front wheel, proceed
as follows:
Position the vehicle on the centre stand.

Place a support under the vehi-
cle, so that the front wheel has
enough space to move and the
vehicle cannot fall down.

Loosen the screw (1) of the wheel pin
clamp.
Driving torque of the wheel pin clamp
screw: 12 Nm (1.2 kgm).
Unscrew the wheel pin (2) completely.
Wheel pin driving torque:
50 Nm (5 kgm).
Support the front wheel and manually
withdraw the wheel pin (2).
Take the washer (3).

Never pull the front brake lever
after removing the brake caliper,
otherwise the caliper pistons
may go out of their seats, thus causing
the outflow of the brake fluid.
In this case consult your
Dealer, who will carry out the proper
maintenance operation.
Make the front wheel advance until you
can withdraw the disc from the brake cal-
iper (4).
Without removing the brake caliper, ro-
tate the left rod (5) clockwise, in such a
way as to create the space necessary to
withdraw the wheel.
Withdraw the front wheel completely.
Disconnect the odometer control (6).
