CHANGING THE FRONT AND REAR
DIRECTION INDICATOR BULBS
Carefully read p. 72 (BULBS).
NOTE
Before changing a bulb, check
the fuses, see p. 71 (CHANGING THE
FUSES).
To change the bulbs:

Unscrew and remove the screw (1).
NOTE
When removing the protection
screen, proceed with care, in order not to
break the tangs (2).
◆
Remove the protection screen (3).
NOTE
Upon reassembly, fit the tangs
(2) correctly in the appropriate seats.

Take the metal ring (4).
NOTE
The coloured screen (5) is sup-
plied only if the direction indicator is
equipped with a protection screen (3) of
the ≈transparent colourless∆ type.

Unscrew and remove the screw (6).
NOTE
When removing the coloured
screen, proceed with care, in order not to
break the tang.
◆
Rotate the coloured screen (5) towards
the inside, until releasing the tang (7),
then remove it.
NOTE
Upon reassembly, correctly in-
sert the tang (7) in the appropriate seat.
◆
Press the bulb (8) slightly and rotate it
anticlockwise.
◆
Extract the bulb from its seat.
NOTE
To install the new bulb: introduce
the bulb in the bulb socket, making sure
that the two guide pins coincide with the
relevant guides on the bulb socket.
◆
Correctly install a new bulb of the same
type.
For the reassembly:
NOTE
Tighten the screw (1) and the
screw (6) moderately and with great care,
in order to avoid damaging the protection
screen (3) and the coloured screen (5).
