9. Using a 1/2" socket and a 1/2" open-end wrench, remove the bolt, nut, lock washer and two flat
washers securing lead W7 to the choke terminal. See Figure F.26. See Wiring Diagram.
10. Using a 1/2" socket and a 1/2" open-end wrench, remove the bolt, nut, lock washer and two flat
washers securing leads W8 and W9 to the choke terminal. See Figure F.26. See Wiring Diagram.
11. Carefully swing the case front panel assembly out and to the left side to allow for access to the
components to be replaced.
NOTE: It may be necessary to support the case front panel assembly with wood block to avoid
putting stress on any plugs or wiring still connected to the front panel.
12. Using a 1/2" socket and 1/2" open-end wrench, remove the bolt, nut, lock washer and two flat
washers securing lead W3 to the upper output rectifier terminal. See Figure F.26. See Wiring
Diagram.
13. Using a 1/2" socket and 1/2" open-end wrench, remove the bolt, nut, lock washer and two flat
washers securing lead W2 to the middle output rectifier terminal. See Figure F.26. See Wiring
Diagram.
14. Using a 1/2" socket and 1/2" open-end wrench, remove the bolt, nut, lock washer and two flat
washers securing lead W1 to the lower output rectifier terminal. See Figure F.26. See Wiring
Diagram.
15. Using a 1/2" nutdriver, remove the two nuts and washers securing the output rectifier to the stator
support.

The output rectifier can now be removed and replaced.
17. Using a 1/2" socket and a 1/2" open-end wrench, remove the three long bolts, nuts and lock
washers securing the choke to the stator support.

The choke can now be removed and replaced.
REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE
1. Carefully position the choke into the stator support.
2. Using a 1/2" socket and a 1/2" open-end wrench, attach the three long bolts, nuts and lock washers
securing the choke to the stator support.
3.
Carefully position the output rectifier onto the stator support.
4. Using a 1/2" nutdriver, attach the two nuts and washers securing the output rectifier to the stator
support.
5. Using a 1/2" socket and 1/2" open-end wrench, attach the bolt, nut, lock washer and two flat
washers securing lead W1 to the lower output rectifier terminal. See Wiring Diagram.
6. Using a 1/2" socket and 1/2" open-end wrench, attach the bolt, nut, lock washer and two flat
washers securing lead W2 to the middle output rectifier terminal. See Wiring Diagram.
7. Using a 1/2" socket and 1/2" open-end wrench, attach the bolt, nut, lock washer and two flat
washers securing lead W3 to the upper output rectifier terminal. See Wiring Diagram.
8. Carefully position the case front panel assembly onto the front of the machine.
9. Using a 1/2" socket and a 1/2" open-end wrench, attach the bolt, nut, lock washer and two flat
washers securing leads W8 and W9 to the choke terminal. See Wiring Diagram.
10. Using a 1/2" socket and a 1/2" open-end wrench, attach the bolt, nut, lock washer and two flat
washers securing lead W7 to the choke terminal. See Wiring Diagram.
11. Using a 1/2" socket and a 1/2" open-end wrench, attach the bolt, nut, lock washer and two flat
washers securing leads W6 and W11 to the output rectifier. See Wiring Diagram.
