When you playback 8mm tape, noise appears during still,
slow, and picture search.
* Jf more than 30 seconds (8mm deck) or 5 minutes (VHS deck) have passed after you
pressed §ll PAUSE, the VCR automatically returns to playback mode.
To use the time counter
To display the counter on the TV screen, press DISPLAY.
Notes
© The counter resets to "OHO0MO00S" whenever a tape is reinserted.
* The counter stops counting when it comes to a portion with no recording.
* If you have connected your TV to your VCR using the EURO-AV cable, make sure
to set the LINE 1 VIDEO OUT option in the SET UP MENU to NORM. However, if
your TV has a S input setting, then set the LINE 1 VIDEO OUT option in the SET
UP MENU to S.
Tip
* To rewind or advance the tape to the point that you have reset the counter to
"QHO0MO00S", press TAPE RETURN.
* You can eject a tape even when the power is off. When you press & EJECT, the unit
turns on automatically. After ejecting a tape, the unit turns off again.
