Creating and Recording a Title
The titling function allows you to select one of nine titles stored in camcorder memory, or create a new
title, and record it You can choose from six languages to display stored titles: English, French, Spanish,
German, Italian and Chinese, Select or create a title and personalize your recordings, while at the
same time keeping a permanent visual record of what is contained on a tape.
Selecting Stored Title (Prememo)
Note: Be sure to insert the clock battery before
selecting a title. Although a title can be chosen
without the clock battery inserted, it will disap¬
pear when the battery providing power to the
camcorder is removed.
J Connect the camcorder to a power source.
2 Hold down the small button on the CAM / OFF /
VIDEO switch and slide it to either CAM or
VIDEO.
^ Press the TITLE button.
A flashing cursor will appear in the viewfinder
or on the LCD monitor, and the camcorder will
enter the title creating mode ("Creating a Title"
on page 48).
4: Press the REW button.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY" will appear.

You can choose the desired language of the dis¬
played title by pressing the REW button, as in
the following order:
