Camcorder Power Sources
You can use the charged battery pack AC adaptor (provided) or car battery cord (optional) to power
the camcorder. After use, be sure to remove the power supply.
Using Battery Rack
Attach the charged battery pack to the cam¬
corder. (See pages 17-18 for attachment and
charging of battery pack.)
Using the AC Adaptor

Please ensure that the CAM/OFF/VIDEO switch is in the OFF position whenever attaching or detaching
any po wer supply (ie. battery, AC adaptor, etc.).
J Plug the AC adaptor power cord into an AC
outlet. Make sure that the wide blade fits into
the wide slot. If it doesn't fit try reversing it. If
you still cannot make fit the blades fully into the
outlet either contact an electrician to replace
your obsolete outlet, or use a. polarized cord or
outlet accessory.
2 Connect the DC plug of the AC adaptor to the
DC IN jack of the camcorder.
Note: The AC adaptor can be used around the
world. An AC plug adaptor is required in some
foreign countries. If you need one purchase it
at your Hitachi distributor.
