2. If your display has a brightness or contrast
control, turn it clockwise as far as it will go.
3. If you have an expansion unit, turn it on.
The expansion unit looks like the system unit
but doesn't have any diskettes drives in it.
The On/Off switch is located on the right side
of the unit.
4. If you have a system diskette, insert it into
drive A, and close the lever.
If you have a fixed disk, you will not have a
system diskette.
5. Turn on your system unit.
The system unit has at least one diskette
drive in it. The On/Off switch is located on
the right side of the unit.
6. Watch the Power-On System Test (POST).
When the POST is done, this panel should
appear on your screen:
