15. Advanced
This shows more advanced tone and sample playback settings that can be
adjusted using the Small Encoders.
Kit Piece Volume: The overall volume of the loaded Kit Piece (-INF – 0.00 –
+6.00 dB).
Vel to Damp: The louder the drum sound is, the more the sound will be
dampened (-I00 – 100%). Positive values will increase damping with higher
velocities, while negative values will reduce damping with higher velocities.
Vel to Pitch: This determines how much the velocity of a strike will affect the
layer's tuning (-I00 – 100%). Positive values will increase pitch with higher
velocities, while negative values will decrease pitch with higher velocities.
Choke Time: Sets the time it takes for the Choke Group to decay when muting
each other (0.000 – 1.000).
Choke Group: Any Kit Pieces assigned to the same Choke Group will mute
each other (OFF, 0-19, ALL).
16. Save Preset Kit Piece
Saves a copy of the current Preset Kit Piece to your User Library.
To Save a Kit Piece:
1.
Tap the disk icon in the top right corner next to the current kit name. A popup
prompt will appear.
2. Select Yes (or select No to discard changes) and enter a kit name to save it as
a User Kit.
