13. Tweaks
This shows various sample playback parameters that can be adjusted using the
Small Encoders.
Kit Piece Volume: This is the overall volume of the loaded Kit Piece (-INF –
0.00 – +6.00 dB).
Damping: This will naturally reduce the sustain time from the Kit Piece, similar
to muffling acoustic drums or cymbals with tape or gel (0 % - 100 %).
Attack: This will increase or decrease the amount of attack for the Kit Piece,
without affecting the natural dynamics (-100 % – 100 %).
Tuning: This adjusts the tuning for the drums and their pitch, giving a higher
or lower sound to the drum (-12.00 st – 12.00 st).
Dynamics: This adjusts how sensitive the Kit Piece is to your performance.
Higher settings will reduce dynamic range, allowing your performance to cut
through more easily when needed. Conversely, lower settings will increase
dynamic range (-100 % - 100 %).
Pan: This controls the pan of the Kit Piece in the Mixer (100 L – C – 100 R).
