2 – Removing the covers for the interior mirror

Removing and installing/replacing the headlining (equipment specification without slide/tilt sunroof)
Unclip the trim panel for the water channel (1) with the
special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325).
Version A:
Release the cover (1) at the centre from the latch
mechanisms (2) with a suitable plastic wedge and
remove.
Version B:
Release the cover (1) from the latch mechanisms (2)
with a suitable plastic wedge and remove sideways.
